Bumrah bowled well in the middle overs:

Gaikwad said that, “The young wicketkeeper hitting those three sixes was really helpful for us, it made a big difference. We required more runs for this place. Bumrah bowled well in the middle overs. We executed our bowling plans well despite MI hitting some good shots. I would have been satisfied with 6 overs for 60 runs in the powerplay. You need to be precise in both bowling and batting at this venue. Our Malinga (Matheesha Pathirana) bowled excellently today, especially his yorkers. Also, Tushar (Deshpande) and Shardul (Thakur) performed well. We should make things easy, and need to make sure that everyone stays positive, and stick to what we're doing. Ajinkya Rahane was carrying a slight injury, so I thought it was better for him to open. I'm okay with batting anywhere, and being the team captain adds more responsibility.”
